Hytale Chapter 1 Bosses: Gobliterator, Feastmaster & More

Chapter 1 (October 12, 2026) brought Hytale's first handcrafted dungeon, The Deepworks, which ends in the game's first major multi-phase boss fight against the Gobliterator. New elite enemies also roam The Guttering Hollows. The dungeon details come from the official Chapter I notes; health, damage and drops come from the Hytale Wiki. Numbers nobody has published yet are marked To be updated.

Chapter 1 Bosses at a Glance

The Deepworks Dungeon

• What: Hytale's first handcrafted dungeon and the end of Chapter 1's content and progression.
• Inside: winding rooms, each with a new challenge: goblin hordes, flames and falling debris to dodge, puzzles, and checkpoints to activate along the way.
• Bosses: the Goblin Feastmaster blocks the way first, and the Gobliterator waits at the end.
• Where the entrance is: To be updated.

Gobliterator MkIIII

• What: a goblin at the controls of a walking mech, with a wrecking ball on one side, an arm made of scrap on the other, four fire vents at its waist and a mounted cannon (Hytale Wiki).
• Where: at the end of The Deepworks. The official notes warn that it won't be easy, so go in prepared.
• Hard mode: an ominous button on the left of the boss room's entrance starts it.
• Fight: three phases, according to the Hytale Wiki. The attacks shown so far are Fire Blast (a cone of flame), Flamethrower (four rotating columns of fire), Stalactite Slam (stalactites fall on and around players) and Wrecking Whallop (a ground slam that sends out a shockwave).
• Health and drops: To be updated.

Goblin Feastmaster

• Where: the first boss you face in The Deepworks, according to the official notes, which warn that it is more nimble than it looks. The Hytale Wiki also places it in a larger structure under the goblin slums of The Guttering Hollows, such as an underground arena or tavern.
• Health: 350. Damage: 55 to 70.
• Fight: it calls for reinforcements and charges at you. It slams the ground to launch you away, picks up nearby Goblin Scrappers to throw at you and summons more Scrappers from time to time.
• Memory: you only get its Memory by defeating it.
• Drops: 2 Bundled Treasure, 20 to 30 Scraps, 1 Dubious Assembly and 2 Runestone Shards. The Scraps and the Dubious Assembly go into goblin gadgets, the shards into runes. See Goblin Gadgets.

Revenant Guardian

• Where: the lowest level of the Cave Crypts in The Guttering Hollows. It was called the Skeleton Elite earlier in the pre-release.
• Health: 350. Damage: 36 and 48.
• Fight: it swings a giant sword and leaps at you. After a leap its sword sticks in the ground for a moment, which is the time to hit back. Once damaged enough, it draws a second sword and attacks faster.
• Memory: you only get its Memory by defeating it.
• Drops: 2 Runestone Shards (used to craft runes), 2 Enkindled Sigils (used for the Scrap Drill) and 1 to 2 Void Crystal Shards. See the Runes List.

Voidtaken Grizzly

• Where: The Guttering Hollows, when the Predator Sighted world event is running.
• Health: 850. Its swipes and stomp deal 5 damage each.
• Drops: 1 Voidtaken Grizzly Hide, needed for the Rocket Boots and the Scrap Glider, and 6 to 10 Essence of the Void. An earlier pre-release build had it drop a Voidheart instead of the essence.

Where They Live: The Guttering Hollows

The Guttering Hollows is the goblin fragment of Orbis that a Goblin Breach opens. After you start Chapter 1 at the Forgotten Temple, a breach can appear in your world. On the other side is a floating island with a giant statue at its center, forests and ruins on top, and goblin hamlets underground:

• Cave Crypts: full of skeletons, with the Revenant Guardian at the bottom.
• Cave Mines: where goblins dig for metal and scrap.
• Cave Slums: goblin housing, usually with a Goblin Feastmaster in a larger structure underneath.
• Enkindled Ruins: ruins of an old civilization, guarded by skeletons or picked over by goblins.

The longer the fragment stays open, the stronger the Void grows: the sky turns purple, more Void creatures spawn, and in the end the portal closes and sends you home. For the other bosses in the game, see the Bosses List.
