Hytale has 8 armor sets you can get in Exploration Mode: 5 crafted at the Armorer's Workbench (Copper, Iron, Cobalt, Thorium and Adamantite) and 3 found on enemies or in chests (Kweebec, Ancient Steel and Trork Warrior).

Adamantite Armor is the best: a full set adds 68 health and 39% physical and projectile resistance. The other 19 armor sets on the Hytale Wiki, including Mithril, can only be taken from the Creative inventory. Numbers below were read from the Hytale Wiki on 2026-10-12.

Armor You Can't Get in Exploration Mode

The Hytale Wiki lists 19 more armor sets that can only be taken from the Creative inventory, so they can't be crafted or found in a normal world: Bronze, Cindercloth, Cotton, Crude Diving, Heavy Leather, Light Leather, Linen, Medium Leather, Mithril, Onyxium, Ornate Bronze, Prisma, Raven Leather, Silk, Soft Leather, Steel, Wooden, Woolen and Woolen Cloth.

What is the best armor in Hytale?

Adamantite Armor. A full set adds 68 health and 39% physical and 39% projectile resistance, and it is made at the Armorer's Workbench tier 3.

Can you craft Mithril armor in Hytale?

No. The Hytale Wiki says Mithril Armor can't be found or crafted in Exploration Mode; it can only be taken from the Creative inventory. Its recipe exists in the game files but can't be used in a normal world.

Where do you craft armor in Hytale?

At the Armorer's Workbench: tier 1 makes Copper and Iron armor, tier 2 Cobalt and Thorium, and tier 3 Adamantite.

How much does a full set of iron armor cost?
